All loads of refuse must be covered with a secured tarp or other cover, or placed in a closed container so that no material can fall or fly out. Any vehicle without a covered or secured load will not be turned away, but will be subject to the following fee in addition to current fees for landfill use: $10.00 per individual load, $20.00 per commercial load. State Law requires all vehicles carrying materials on public right-of-ways to be covered with a tarp or otherwise secured: (IOWA STATE 321.460)
