Clerk of Court

The Clerk of Court Office is located on the second floor of the Benton County Courthouse, at 111 East Fourth Street in Vinton Iowa.  The Clerk's Office is a State of Iowa Office.  The State appointed Clerk of  Court in Benton County is Cynthia Forsyth.  The phone number is 319-472-2766 and the FAX number is 319-472-2747.  For information regarding the Magistrate's Office, call 319-472-2766.

The Clerk's Office will be closed December 4th, 24th, and 31st, January 15th, February 15th, March 12th and 26th, April 2nd, May 28th, and June 18th.  Beginning December 4th, 2009 through June 18th, 2010, the Clerk's office also will be closed to the public at 2:30 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays.
